2006 Year In review:
2006 proved to be a good year for Sammy & Jason! Jason succeeded in making Sammy High Point Midwest Dog! Winning the Danforth (Top Mid-West American Bred Open Dog) and Tony (For the Handler of the Danforth Dog) trophies & finishing the National with a CM! Much thanks to all of the judges who judged Sammy and Jason in 2006 and thank you to all of the guns. A huge thank you to Jason Givens for all of his hard work!
Below are Sammy's placements in the Open for 2006:
- Central WI: 4th place
- Illinois: 1st place
- St. Croix: 3rd place
- Northern Minnesota: 3rd place
- Title Valley: 1st place
- CM 2006 National Open
But it didn't end with Sammy! Bob was thrilled with Maggie ! Bob won the open at the Patriots trial and also the guns award. THIS WAS EXTRA SPECIAL as The Guns award made the day even more sweet!
In The late spring Maggie and Sammy Qualified for their first MH legs with Bob !
The Puppies did very well with Jenny finishing her SH title and placing first in one out of two puppy stakes that she ran in! She also completed WDX title. Woody picked up three SH legs plus two puppy placements a third and forth placement! Thank you to the puppy judges and the Hunt Test judges.
Good friend Ellen Peters with Maggie's pup Gracie received her WDX, JH and her first two SH legs.
- 4/14-15/07 Patriot Club Hunt Test - Maggie Quallfies for two Master Hunter placements & Woody earns two senior Placements for his Senior Hunter title!!!!
- 10/21-22/06 Liberty English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers - Jenny finished her Senior Hunter with two qualifying scores over the weekend. Elsie handled her to this accomplishment. Gracie (Ellen Peters) got her first two legs in senior as well. Both girls qualified for their WDX Titles.
- 9/23/06 Patriot Field Trial Maggie Won the open (also taking the Guns award) and Woody took fourth in the Puppy Stake with Bob Handling. Jenny Won the Puppy Stake with Elsie handling
- 9/2-3/06 Central Conneticut Spaniel Club Field Trial - Woody took 3rd in the Puppy Stake with Bob handling.
- 8/26-27/06 Central Conneticut Spaniel Club Hunt Test - Jenny achieved 2 more qualifying scores for her Senior Hunter Title. Woody received one Senior Hunt score
- 5/28-29/06 Central Conneticut Spaniel Club Hunt Test - Woody got another leg in Senior Hunter while Gracie completed her Junior Hunter title with 2 qualifying scores.
- 5/26-27/06 Cocker Spaniel Field Trial Club of America Hunt Test - Qualifying scores for Sammy and Maggie in Master (their first leg for both), and Woody in Senior.
- 4/29/06 Bushy Hill Hunt Test - Jenny got qualifying scores in Senior at only 15 months old.
- 4/22-23/06 Patriots Hunt Test - Gracie (owned and loved by Ellen Peters) got qualifying scores in Junior both days.
