BIO: Woody

1/11/2008 Woody has joined the Yavorek Family. This special boy has his very own kids , a Dad who hunts and a special Mom who will work him in obedience. Knowing this family is the perfect home made the decision to let him go easier . Thank You to the Yavorek Family for Woody's loving home.

The only white and black male in Maggie's litter of nine, Woody quickly won Elsie's heart. He was the pick stud fee puppy that Tim Edwards took home . After a few weeks, Tim called to say that he was selling Woody to a field trial home, and Elsie asked to buy him back. This handsome guy is extremely laid back and probably the easiest puppy Elsie has worked in obedience--he heels like a border collie! Woody's eye contact is wonderful, always watching his owners as if to say, "what do you want, boss?" He's an really handsome boy with a wonderful "life is a party, and I'm the guest of honor" attitude.

Woody spent five months with his friend Jason Givens at Lighthouse Kennels returning in May of 2006 for Bob to run. Elsie and Bob love this big guy and believe that he has the best temperament of any dog they have met. Their Grandson Jackson"s favorite dog at Grandpa's!!!

Woody has all the bells & whistles to be a super hunting dog /hunt test dog. Woody will have fun this fall being Bob's gun dog and working on hunt tests.
